Michel Therrien Benches PK Subban for a "Individual Mistake"

It's an understatement to say that it's been a rough patch of games for the Montreal Canadiens, but things have gotten worse. In a tied 2-2 game on Wednesday, PK Subban made an offensive play against the Colorado Avalanche. He was stripped of the puck by Mikhail Grigorenko, and lost an edge, and flew into the boards, taking him out of the play altogether. The Canadiens were caught in a 3-on-3 in their own zone now, and Jarome Iginla scored what would be the game winning goal. Michel Therrien was quick to blame PK for the game's loss, benching him right after the play was over. If you look at statistics via tsn.ca, it says PK leads all defenseman turnovers, ahead of Doughty, Burns, Seabrook, and Karlsson. Notice that these are elite defensemen. The more these players have the puck on their stick, the more turnover's they'll make. It's simple logic. Now was it PK's fault? No, because he was making a play any all-star would make, and a team like Montreal needs all-star players like PK Subban. I feel Michel Therrien made the wrong call on blaming PK.
